Banquet tickets are running low. As the largest room at the Rihga Royal Hotel only has space for approximately 150 people and already over 100 have already bought a ticket. It might be that no banquet tickets might be available for sale at the conference counter. Therefore, please be sure to register for the banquet when you submit your registration, otherwise you suffer the risk of no more tickets being available.

Purpose:
AIM'97 is a unique conference where
researchers, engineers and business people who are interested in the field
of mechatronics gather and discuss to initiate mechatronics as an engineering
technology and a new discipline in the coming 21st century. Additionally
this conference will have strong relations to the new transactions, "IEEE/ASME
Transaction on Mechatronics." It is planned to publish a special issue
that consists of selected papers from AIM'97.
